Since 13 years we are trying to put together three French drivers on a Formula One grid and today on our “Stade 2” stage, it’s possible.

Romain Grosjean on Lotus

Jean-Eric Vergne on Toro Rosso

And Charles Pic on Marussia

Our three Formula One Frenchmen accept for us the cross portraits formula.

Q: First memory behind a wheel?

CP: In a kart, I was ten years old.

JEV : When I was little, I was 5, on my parents’ track; in kart.

RG : On a rent kart, in Frejus, during holidays.

Q: How old were you?

RG: I must be in 1997 so 11 years old.

Last kart’s laps, three month ago in Bercy, JEV wins over Romain Grosjean on the line and it was quite hot.

RG : We’re going to spend 20 GP together, 20 week-ends so we can’t start to crash now. We’re trying to go on a good ambiance.

Q: Which is your quality that the two others haven’t?

RG : My smile

JEV : Stubborn and dogged.

CP : I’m a perfectionist. It’s a quality but sometimes it can also play tricks to me.

JEV : I’m always thinking about F1, I eat F1, I drink F1, I breathe F1,

RG : My favorite F1 driver? It will be a mix between Schumacher, Prost, Senna and Vettel.

CP : When I was little, I liked Raikkonen.

JEV: I would say Ayrton Senna.

Q: Which race would you prefer to win?

RG : The French GP when it will came back in the calendar.

JEV : anyone

CP : Mid-term the race to win, I think it will be Monaco

Charles Pic best memory is precisely in Monaco with his victory in 2008 in World Series.

Q: Who’s the best from you?

RG : It’s an impossible question!

RG: the two other are powering up. They’re young and they’re powering up so beware…

JEV : I’m not afraid of them but I would say Romain

CP: Romain is clearly the most experimented of us three.

RG: Because I’m the most experimented.

RG: Now, I’m older. I’ve had a big disappointment in 2009. And the perseverance and work had paid with my return in F1.

Q: A question for Romain?

JEV : Nothing to do with motor racing but I know he loves cooking and I love good restaurants too so can he give me a good address in Paris?

RG : “Le Père Claude”, 51, avenue de la Motte Piquet.

Q : Why ?

RG : because sometimes, I’m cooking so we can have a special cook.

Q : To Charles?

JEV : Who’s your hairdresser?

CP : he’s jealous of my haircut.

We hope it will go better on the track! (In French there was a joke with an expression with the hair but I can’t translate it)

The last Frenchman to have won a race was Olivier Panis in Monaco, 1996. So we can’t wait to see it changes.

RG : Cheers

JEV : Cheers
